How do I unlock the GdPicture QR-Code Barcode Recognition Plugin?
You have to create a LicenseManager object, then call the RegisterKey() method with your Plugin license key.
I.E:

What is the minimum image resolution to get reasonable accuracy?
The minimum image resolution is about 150 DPI. Below 150 DPI, accurate results decrease dramatically.
How do I perform QR-Code barcode recognition on a specific zone of an image?
1- Load the image (see your toolkit reference guide).
2- Define the zone (also called region of interest) using the SetROI() method.
I.E., Object.SetRoi(100,100,250,50)
3- Perform the barcode recognition using the BarcodeQRReaderDoScan() method.
