| | I am trying to evaluate GDPicture Toolkit Pro.
I have got a few very basic questions before I go ahead with extensive testing.
Q1) Does this control support layers?
Q2) If answer to Q1 is Yes then can we load/create Mask layers?
Q3) It has facility to set Alpha but can we Load Alpha data from a separate file?
Q4) Can we perform Jpeg Lossless transformations and cut?
Q5) Does this support Color Management System (CMS) to process ICC profiles?
Q6) Does it have PlugIn architecture so that we can write our own PlugIns for different File Formats, for example to load RAW Digital Camera files?
Q7) Can we query an image's properties without loading that image in the control?
Q8) Can we Load alpha channel for any image file that contains Alphi channel data?
Q9) how about Wang Imaging annotations?
Q10) Is there any support for Color Channels and ways to extrace a particular channel or write to a particular channel, etc.
These are just a few of my queries. I have more which will come later.
I am currently evaluating different libraries like LeadTool, FreeImage, GraphicMagick, etc. to decide on the best possible library to suite my requirements.
My prime development platform is VB but I do not hesitate to use Delphi if required at times.
