DLLs in use by another process
We are using the last version of v6 and are experimenting with using it in a .NET web service. It works fine but doesn't seem to release the image correctly. After rotating the image, we do a .releasegdpicture, then a cleargdpicture and then set the object to nothing. Is there anything else we're mi...

Re: Update thumbnail after change to source document
I found that using a listview, creating the thumbnail and setting the image in the image collection = to the new thumbnail did the trick. The listview displayed the newly created thumbnail upon the update to the collection.

Re: Update thumbnail after change to source document
Is it possible to update that index then do a redraw? I'd like to maintain a page index = image index so they are in synch. If I add a new image to my image list then they are out of synch. I'm not sure if we can just do a replace for that single image in the image list and maintain the exact order ...

Update thumbnail after change to source document
I have a thumbnail control that I use to display pages from a document (jpgs that I created and load using the loadfromfile). If a user alters the original tiff, and the system updates the jpg, how do I tell the update the display for that specific thumbnail? I need to make sure it just updats, with...

Re: 64bit scanning on 32bit app, 64bit Windows
If we use the pure 32 bit version and install on a 64 bit OS, can we continue to use a 32 bit scanner driver? Is it possible to install 32 bit drivers on a 64 bit OS?

64bit scanning on 32bit app, 64bit Windows
We're excited about the native 64-bit support in v7. How far are we away from PDF creation for the 64-bit enviroment? Do we need a native 64-bit version of GDP to scan with 64-bit TWAIN drivers? I assumed so, just want to make sure there ins't a work arround for 32 bit app to scan with 64-bit driver...

Extending size of image
How can I extend the physical size of an image? The idea is to make the image longer, add a barcode to the bottom of the page and print it with autofit. Can you give me a code sample please?

Re: Making annotations permanent
Some additional detail...we are reading a PDF file, copying the pages to a new PDF file and applying a barcode to the document during that process. We add the barcode (works on our test app writing to tiff document) but the text does not show up on our output pdf. Please advise. Thanks in advance. H...

PDF to tiff w/JPEG not writting file to disk
I'm reading a PDF into a byte array and handling the data to GDViewer & GDImaging so I can write it to disk as a tiff (either G4 for bitonal or w/JPEG for color images). If I use Tif G4 it works fine and I get the file as expected. If I use tiff w/jpeg compression I don't get anyting written to ...

Setting rotate within TWAIN driver for 9080C
1. Is there a way to set the rotate w/in TWAIN for a 9080C (what about settings for front and back?)
2. I see an option for auto rotate but it says its not available on this scanner (per the IsAvailable...). Can we also set the Text Orientation rotate?
Thanks,
MP
