Front vs Back page when scanning duplex

Post by mp33487 » Thu Feb 11, 2010 9:32 pm

Is there a way to determine if the page we're saving is the front side or back side of an image. Yes, we could do a odd/even counter. But the issue is some scanners will automaticly discard blank pages. This that case we may get several fronts without back pages in a row and our manual count would be off. Is there a property to check for the image returned to know this?

Hi,

Unfortunately, I see nothing in TWAIN specification for this issue.

A workaround consist to use the internal blank page detection engine of GdPicture.NET

With best regards,

Loïc
