ThumbnailEX not using EXIF Orientation Flag

Post by Harry » Sat Nov 10, 2012 10:34 am

The thumbnailEX does not rotate a thumbnail depending on the given EXIF flag of a JPEG-file. Most of digital cameras only give you the EXIF orientation flag to rotate the JPEG file in the right way. For an example, the Windows Explorer is able to show the thumbnails ok, but with ThumbnailEx it is rotated 90°.

Is thera a way to use the AddfromFile or InsertfromFile method. I don't want to load a gdpicture and rotate manualy, because it will cost too much memory and performance.

Hello Harry,

Please create a support case to https://www.gdpicture.com/support/getting-support-from-our-team for this issue. We will also need example of your image with the orientation flag.

Kind regards,
