GRPicture.NET component and x64

WE licensed the GDPicture.NET component on the basis that it says both 32 and 64 bit are supported.

Yet, when we try running an anyCPU build on an x64 environment it does'nt work. When we checked the redis dlls, we realized that they are built for x86.

What is the solution to this problem?

Hi,

You have to target the application to x86 systems. So your application will works on both 32bit & 64bit systems.
We are currently working on a native 64 bit edition of GdPicture.NET but this release is not yet available.

With best regards,

Loïc

Hi Loïc,

I have also assumed, that GDPicure.net runs under 64 bit. More than one day i had a look at all other used dlls until i found this post. For us ist's also very important to have a 64bit version. We are working with very large images ( > 600 mb Tiffs ). So we need over 3 GB memory to handle those images.

Bet regards,
Harry

Hi Harry,

Of course it works, but in 32bit mode. Native 64 bit release will be published very soon.
