Readable omr documents.

Post by Ezio » Mon Feb 14, 2011 12:25 pm

I'm very interestyed in this new feature, but information now are very preliminary.
OMR engine looks for square Box? for circle? oval? wich elements can be used as anchor point?
Can you publish a sample form images to test recognition features and sample code to do it?
Thank you very much for your attention.

Hi,

The OMR works on Rectangular, circular, and oval regions.

Any constant in the documents can be used as an anchor, but here is some good practices in choosing your anchor:
1. The anchor should be some type of logo, print, visible feature.
2. The anchor should pereferebly not be any letters, or words..
3. The size of the anchor should be enough to encapsulate the shape selected, but it would be unwise to choose large portions that cover the entirity of the image.

As for the image, you can find a sample image in the Forms Processing Page: https://www.gdpicture.com/products/plugi ... essing.php

For you to see examples on how to test it , please refer to our Forms Processing Demo folder, where you will find two demos: Anchor and OMR.

If you need more specific help, please do not hesitate to ask,
