recognition of documents, no good results

Post by ditte » Thu Dec 15, 2011 7:21 pm

Hi,
some years before I would make my in-box sorting easier.
I get all my post as pdf from a scanner.
I have make the templates and compare it with the incomming post. The result wasn´t satisfactory. If I create my documents with self created documents from a pdf printer, I will get 100%.
So I´m sure that I´ve make the recognition modul correct.
If I get my documents from a scanner the result from the same can be very different must define the compare area and if the border is not the same, the result isn´t correct.

A better way would be to search a template inside a document. So I would make a template from the very specific logo and would search it.
Maybe I must go a other way?

Hi Ditte,

Please correct me if I misunderstood you, but from what I understand you are asking for a method you could search for part of the image in another scanned image:
We have our anchoring system that does exactly that added in our Form Processing Plug in, please check:

Yet still, our ADR should help you fine with this task. If you have a specific problem in specific images you should contact us with that problem at:
