Hi,
My feature request regards a way to determine if an image is the back or the front side when using TwainAcquireToGdPictureImage() to scan documents when duplex mode is enabled .
I can't rely on the odd/even counter of images because certain scanner can detect and eliminate blank pages directly upon acquisition; in this scenario if I scan 2 pages with the back side blank, ill' get two "front" images whereas relying on odd/even i would get 1 front and 1 back.
Is there any plan about it?
Eventually can I have 'preview' versions ? I am a licensed user.
Thank you!
Nicola
Back or front side in Duplex scanning
Re: Back or front side in Duplex scanning
Hello,
Unfortunately, unless I am missing something, there is nothing in the TWAIN specification to obtain such information. SO the only thing i can suggest is to disable the blank page detection of the device and use the one of GdPicture.
Please let me know if you need further information.
With best regards,
Loïc

Update: this is actually possible. The next minor release will include a new method: TwainGetLastPageSide()
