Annotations Disappear When Window Maximized ...

We are having a strange issue with interactive text annotations visually disappearing from the GDViewer when the windows form is maximized. The program is written in VB, and there is a form that combines a viewer with a grid control and several buttons. Users will maximize the form so that it takes up the entire monitor. When maximized, they press the button to add an interactive text annotation (viewer.AddAnnotationInteractive()), and they get the crosshairs. When they click and drag, there is no visual feedback at all. After clicking and dragging, they can hover over the annotation and they get the four-arrow cursor, and if they double-click they can edit the text, but once they click off the annotation, it disappears. If they "restore" the form, such that it no longer takes up the entire monitor, the annotation shows up.

Any ideas what could be causing this, or how we might troubleshoot the issue? It appears to be happening on multiple PC's using multiple versions of Windows.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Philip

Hello Philip,

Is it a WinForm or a WPF application? Can you please confirm that you are using the latest release available?
If not, could you please update your SDK and confirm the issue persists?

It is a WinForms application. We downloaded the latest assembly, and it seems to have resolved the issue. Thanks for the response!
