Custom annotations

Post by igor » Sat Nov 04, 2017 1:57 pm

We are expanding our ASP.NET MVC application for viewing documents stored in our eDMS repository. In next release we are planning to add a few custom annotations. This involves adding a few buttons. Apart from these new buttons, we would like to preserve all built-in annotations. I would like to know whether is a possibility to add some custom buttons to the built-in annotations snap-in? I couldn't find such option in documentation. If not, are you going to add such functionality in your next releases? We would like to avoid situation where we need to build custom snap-in and add to it all pre-defined annotations.

Unfortunately this is not possible by design, you can't alter any of the built-in elements (whether it is a snap-in or even the toolbar).
The only option is to implement your own palette with the elements you need, all the methods are provided for this purpose.
