For the PDF text search functions please allow regular expressions. Your competitors do. This should be easy to implement with the .NET Regex class.

Why can't you allow for regular expressions in the SearchText() function? Also v14 SearchText works terribly compared to v9 PDFSearchText, what did you do to this function?? No way I can upgrade!

Regular expression for search should be implemented within 6 months.
Also we've improved a lot the text search function in latest minor release, you should obtain far better result than any previous version with it.

The minor release 14.1.6 https://www.gdpicture.com/products/version-history/ contains improved functionality of Search methods. You can apply either Ordinal or InvariantCulture comparison when searching as of now, that means you can search using accents or not. This is applicable in GdPicturePDF class as well as in both GdViewer and WPF GdViewer controls.

Reg-Ex search is still on our roadmap.

It would make going to the latest version of GdPicture much easier if you would finally get this implemented...STILL WAITING why is this so hard??

This has been created quite a while ago. The reason it was not implemented before is because we have had more critical issues and this was only requested by you. Although you are important to us we had other features that were already in development at the time.

Currently this feature is at the top of our priority list but still requires some dev work. I cannot give you any eta on this sadly.
