Create a Factur-X conform PDF document

Post by marco » Tue Jun 25, 2019 3:32 pm

Hey,

I have an invoice as PDF and a xml document that describes the PDF.
Is it possible to create a Factur-X (or ZUGFeRD) conform PDF with GDPicture?

Kind regards,
Marco

Hi Marco,

We do not currently provide any dedicated methods to create ZUGFeRD or Factur-X documents.
In order to create this kind of document you will need to embed the XML part to the PDF document using file name specified by the ZUGFeRD or Factur-X specifications. After that you will need to save the file as PDF/A-3 (a,b,u depending on the input document) and do some metadata modification afterwards again according to the ZUGFeRD or Factur-X specification.

Hi Mootez07,

What exactly are you having trouble doing?
"In order to create this kind of document you will need to embed the XML part to the PDF document using file name specified by the ZUGFeRD or Factur-X specifications. After that you will need to save the file as PDF/A-3 (a,b,u depending on the input document) and do some metadata modification afterwards again according to the ZUGFeRD or Factur-X specification".

We can help you achieve anything in our software but for ZUGFeRD or Factur-X related information we cannot help you and you alone will need to be able to change the metadata according to these.

To convert a document to PDF/A you can use this method: https://www.gdpicture.com/guides/gdpicture/Gd ... oPDFA.html

Regards,
