Upgraded 14.1.0.64 to 14.1.0.113 - new license key doesn't work, error shows OLD license key

I have a working .NET 4.5 WPF application that uses 14.1.0.64 and a license key that shows the product "GdPicture.NET Document Imaging SDK V14" in LicenseManager. I upgraded to 14.1.0.113 by uninstalling the existing GdPicture product and installing the new MSI. LicenseManager still shows the old key and product, so I registered the new license key and LicenseManager shows the product is now "GdPicture.NET Document Imaging SDK Ultimate V14". I also updated our application code to register the new license key instead of the old one.

Our application now errors out with the following dialog, showing the OLD license key:

Please register your GdPicture.NET copy for development purpose by using the licenseManager.exe application located into the GdPicture.NET installation directory.

Error code: 8192::<OLD LICENSE KEY>.

I can reproduce this using the DocumentViewer sample project in the GdPicture install folder.

Please advise.
