Hi,
I need to ocr ID cards. ID, Name and birth date I can read with MRZ recognition.
BUT: I need also the street, zip and city. This data is not in the MRZ.

The data is located on the backsite where the background is more strong. Anyway, the address is readable by human, but it is not recognized by GD.

Any idea how I can reduce the background to recognize the text?

You could consider manually transcribing the address from the ID card. Although it may take a bit more time and effort, it ensures accuracy.
