Auto rotation capability

Using jpeg images of text documents, does this product offer the ability to auto rotate the image according to content? Full OCR is way too much processing, so I'm trying to find an alternative. Thanks.

Hi,

Yes you can do that easily using the AutoDeskew() method:

Thanks but it appears that deskew works up 20 degrees? I need to be able to rotate up to 180 degrees. The images could be in any orientation and I need to rotate them to readable.

Hi,

Sorry i didn't understood that.

You are right, a good way is to use OCR. However, GdPicture doesn't yet implement OCR features.

However, if your documents have the same structure you can use the GdPicture ADR features. Is this the case ?

Best regards,

Loïc
