SDK Overview
GdPicture Light Imaging Toolkit is an ActiveX image processing component for creating, editing and composing bitmap images. It can perform OCR, read, convert, print and write images in a large variety of formats. GdPicture Light Imaging Toolkit can be used within any 32-bit and 64-bit Windows development environment that supports ActiveX components, including Visual Basic, REALbasic, Visual C++, Delphi, Visual FoxPro, PHP, ASP, MS Word, MS Access, MS Excel, WinDev, PowerBuilder, .NET environments like C# and VB.NET, and many others. It works on Microsoft Windows platforms from Win 98 to Win 7 (32 bit & 64 bit).
GdPicture Light Imaging Toolkit can be used as a:
- ActiveX Imaging for Microsoft Win32 or Win64 development tools
- Twain control that can acquire images from devices such as scanners or cameras that support Auto Document Feeder
- OCR Toolkit using the optional GdPicture Tesseract Plugin for ActiveX
- 1D Barcode Recognition SDK using the optional GdPicture 1D Barcode Recognition Plugin for ActiveX
- DataMatrix Barcode Recognition SDK using the optional GdPicture DataMatrix Barcode Recognition Plugin for ActiveX

Software license key will continue to be valid for all future major & minor updates of GdPicture Light Imaging Toolkit with free upgrades.
ActiveX licensing
Per developer licenses: This license type entitles the specified number of developer (1,2,3,4,5) within a single organization to write software with access to GdPicture Pro Imaging SDK.
Site license: This license entitles an unlimited number of developers in a single organization, at a single physical address, to write software with access to GdPicture Pro Imaging SDK.
