Re: Is it possible to Get back the original Image?
Hi Guru, I have seen, that nobody has replied to any of your posts - terrible :( So I will try to help a little bit. When you reduce the colordepth you have lost all informations about the original image, so you have no chance to get it back. Also the most compression-types are not lossless. What ki...

Nikon RAW is not using whitebalance information of the .nef

It seems that informations of the .nef file like whitebalance etc. are not used to show the image. in the preview of Windows and other Image-Viewer the file is looking muc...

ThumbnailEX not using EXIF Orientation Flag
The thumbnailEX does not rotate a thumbnail depending on the given EXIF flag of a JPEG-file. Most of digital cameras only give you the EXIF orientation flag to rotate the JPEG file in the right way. For an example, the Windows Explorer is able to show the thumbnails ok, but with ThumbnailEx it is ro...

Re: Canon RAW File
Hi Sami
is it working with the complete bytearray from Canon raw data (as written in the ".cr2" file) or only a part of it? Do you know what kind of pixelformat i have to use?
Many thanks in advantage,
Harry

Tiff Stripes
Dear Loic, one of our customers want's to convert binary TIFFs created with GDPicture.net into PDFs. Hi Loïc,
after loading a TIF File (300 DPI) with CreateGdPictureImageFromFileICM and saving the File with SaveAsTIFF, the File has a wrong resolution (120 DPI). What I'm doing wrong?
Thanks forward,

TIF Tag Orientation
Hi Loic,
the Tiff Tag "Orientation" seems not to be supported in the GDViewer. DisplayFromFile is not using the flag to show the image in the right direction.
Best regards
Harry

Re: Using in 64bit app
Hi Loïc, hi edlemus,
most of new graphic boards can't work with the /3GB option of XP. In some cases you get a bluescreen. Using two monitors, you can get many trouble with the /3GB option. I'm looking for a solution for this problem.
Best regards,
Harry

ICC Profile
Hi Loïc, I tried to append a ICC Profile to a image. First I tried it like this: m_GdImage.ICCAddFromFile(iImage, ICCProfile) Result: A profile is Appended, but there are no values for the RGBs and black and whitepoints. Next I tried it like this: GdImage.ICCSetRGBProfile(iImage, ICCProfile) Result:...
