AutoDeskew & CropBorders

Loic, How would I go about using AutoDeskew and CropBorders function of the imaging object together? When ever I use one before the other, there are white triangles left behind on my image on all sides of the solid and I can not crop into the image. My images have a black border, and are sometimes g...

Re: Issue with SaveAsTiffjpg and SaveAsTiffjpgEx

Our clients do not have the GDPicture Viewer and instead use commercial off the shelf software to do their viewing. What publicly available software package do you recommend?

Re: Issue with SaveAsTiffjpg and SaveAsTiffjpgEx

What version of GDPicture did this change? I have used some of the older 5.x versions and have been able to view them with the same viewer?
What image viewers do you recommend to view 7.0 JPEG Tiffs?

PDF Fast Web View

Loïc,
Is it possible to add Fast Web View option to the PDF save options in GDPicture? Sometimes this is called PDF optimization or linearized.
Currently we have to run our pdfs through Adobe Acrobat after creation to turn this setting on.
Thanks.

ConvertTo8BppGrayScale() saves images as 256 Color

When I convert an image to grayscale using ConvertTo8BppGrayScale and then check the properties of the image in either Image Professional or ACDSee they both report that the image is 256 colors and not GrayScale or 256 shades of gray. Image professional will allow me to change it to 256 shades of gr...

SaveAsJPEG() mirrors image

I'm having issues with GDPicture mirroring images. The images are somewhat largish (maps) JPEG images that i'm trying to resave with higher compression. It does not mirror every image, only some. I'm using version 5.603. The code i'm using is below. And my file I'm using is here: http://www.yousendi...

Re: ScaleImage and SaveAsJP2 cause GenericError

I used the 5.4.3 release when testing this code. Also using Visual Studio 2008 if that matters.
I've emailed the image to you. Thank you for your help.

ScaleImage and SaveAsJP2 cause GenericError

I'm having an issue with the below code while trying to save an 8 bitgray scale LZW compressed 300 DPI TIFF to a JP2 after calling ScaleImage. I have no issue with the same code if i do not call ScaleImage. SaveAsJP2 returns 1 {GenericError}. Dim stat As GdPicturePro5.GdPictureStatus Dim intImgId As...

Re: JPEG Compressed TIFFs

Well, that sucks. I agree though that the images should be compressed using a currently supported format. However, we are locked into Kofax Capture, and this is the image format that they use. Is there any way that a more specific error could be returned from getStat, or even have a 0 value return f...

Re: JPEG Compressed TIFFs

Thank you for the addition to being able to save the JPEG compressed TIFFs, but I have a couple more requests. Can you add the ability to save them and customize the JPEG compression factor like a standard call to SaveAsJPEG? Also I have these files that are JPEG compressed TIFFs generated by Kofax ...
