Re: DrawText and Unit of Measure...
Thanks Loic and hope you had a good weekend! The "work around" solution was to use Points for the Unit of Measure for the DrawText method... Could not get Pixels or Inches to work as indicated above. The font size was too small no matter what value was used. So am using Points for the font...

Re: DrawText and Unit of Measure...
Hello All, So I haven't noticed much activity lately... Other than the "junk" being put on here by "forum spammers". Could someone please help with the above... If the basics were spelled out somewhere in the documentation or on the forum, then I would not be asking. Thanks for a...

Re: DrawText and Unit of Measure...
Hello All, Just wondering if anyone at GdPicture has looked into the Unit of Measure issue mentioned above? And while I have your attention... This might be better placed in the PDF section. But it's come up in the project mentioned above and I shall ask my question here. Below is the code we are us...

Re: DrawText and Unit of Measure...
Howdy, An update on this... I was NOT able to get the FontSetUnit (UnitMode_Pixels) in combination with the DrawText method to work. I also tried using FontSetUnit (UnitMode_Inches) with the same results. Both of the above yielded a Font Size that was way too small (only going half way across the pa...

Re: DrawText and Unit of Measure...
Hey Sami, Yes, the previous toolkit allowed everything to be in inches. We are converting "legacy" reports from a Unix Server... Left, Top, Right and Bottom margins in inches Characters per inch --- either 10, 12 or 16.5 Lines per inch --- either 6 or 8 As we populate the image with the te...

Re: DrawText and Unit of Measure...
Thanks Sami, That is what we needed (although it would be nice for that to be spelled out somewhere in the documentation)... We shall probably just have all the measurements including Font Size in pixels, so all the conversions are consistent. So we should use similar conversions for the Font Size a...

Hello,
So could somebody please give some input on the above so we can finish up the conversion?

DrawText and Unit of Measure...
Howdy, We have an application that we are converting to use GdPicture that takes "legacy" reports from a file and converts them so they can be faxed (Tiff) or emailed (Pdf). We are using the DrawText method to accomplish the burning of the text on the GdPicture Image... There is a FontSetU...

Re: Redistributing GdPicture.NET with VB6/ActiveX
Hi Cedric! That's exactly what I was looking for! Considering the wealth of information you shared and after doing some testing with various deployments... I have decided to go with the "path" of least resistance, and NOT deploy/register the libraries from the file server. As much as I wan...

Re: Redistributing GdPicture.NET with VB6/ActiveX
Thanks Sami, That cleared up most of my questions: Since we are using VB6 (32bit) then it seems that distributing just the 32bit libraries make things simpler for us. Other than the fact that we are using GdPicture, we are not using the .NET framework directly in our application... I understand abou...

Redistributing GdPicture.NET with VB6/ActiveX
Hello, Have read all the available documentation related to deploying the libraries (I think). I just want to make sure I understand how it all should be done. We are using a VB6 and ActiveX environment. Using 32bit vs 64bit dll libraries: What determines which version should be deployed/registered?...

Re: GdViewer v10.2.15 - A couple of issues...
Thanks Loic, Glad to be a part of the GdPicture family! Ok... I downloaded and installed v10.2.18 and that resolved the bigger issue of printing from GdViewer. So all is good there! I came up with a work around for the Scrollbar issue... After creating the GdViewer object, I set the ZoomMode to FitT...

GdViewer v10.2.15 - A couple of issues...
Hello, This is my first post to the Forum... So please excuse any violations of "Forum Etiquette". We are currently using GdPicture version 10.2.15... Our application is written in a VB6/ActiveX environment. The issues below are occurring under Windows XP and Windows 7. A brief background....
