Problem with virusscan and gdpdfplug.dll

Post by wagnerxan » Tue Dec 01, 2009 1:00 pm

Hello,
I'm testing the component and have a problem during installation/deployment.

The virusscan of a customer found a problem with the file gdpdfplug.dll and is deleting the file every time after deployed. The ITs will not integrate an exception to the scaner :)

All my own virus-software found nothing.

I've seen there was a similar problem in the past with the GDViewer installation but I7ve downloaded the last package..

Thanks for an answer

Alex

Hello,

Has this virus report been resolved? Was it a false positive? I am reluctant to deploy the latest version until there is a confirmation.

Thanks.

Hi,

This alert is false positive. We tested the latest version available on the website with 3 Antivirus: Norton, AVG & Avast without any alert.

Kind regards,

Loïc

We 've changed to the DotNet-Version and so the problem with our customers virus-scanner is solved.

But just for info,
with the ActiveX-Version our Customers has still the positive false-Message. The scanner is "F-Secure for MIMESweeper"

best

Thank you for the information Alex. To be safe, I just did a scan of the files with the on-line version of F-Secure. All files came back clean.
