ThumbnailEx Get Item Text

I can use the SetItemText method to set the text for a thumbnail when I know it's index.

If I know the thumbnail's index, how do I get that item's text or a reference to that item?

I would be happy with getting an item's text. In a perfect world, I would also like to access an Item and be able to change other properties about it.

Now I'm getting greedy; but is there a way to change a specific thumbnail's border color, background color, add a checkbox to it, or anything else?

Hi,

We will add the GetItemText() method for the next minor release (should be released very soon).

For other options (border colors, checkbox etc...) this requires some investigations from our side. We will do our best to bring the maximum of level control for each items in the list in our future releases.

Hi Loïc,

I downloaded the newest version, and started using the new features of ThumbnailEX. I want to thank you because the new additions make my user interface a lot cleaner.

I want to tell you a problem I had with the ItemChecked event. It wasn't firing when I checked an item for the first time. But every check and/or uncheck there after fired the event from then on.

I worked around the problem by checking and unchecking each thumbnail in a loop when I first loaded a multipage tiff.

Let me know if you want a simple code sample.
