Hi,
I am building a web based application in ASP.NET 3.5.
I have a requirement where I have to display pdf files. I had a look at the gdPicture samples and it works great with Internet explorer. It is exactly what I am looking for. But it dosent work with Mozilla Firefox. I am not sure if I need to install anything for this.
The project is on tight schedule and hence I need to take a quick decision.
Please do let me know if gdPicture will work with Mozilla Firefox, the way it works with IE.
Thank you in advance.
Looking forward for your reply

gdViewer with Mozila Firefox
Re: gdViewer with Mozila Firefox
Hi,
Mozilla doesn't provide ActiveX support into the latest release of Firefox. There is some plugins available to enable ActiveX support within Firefox but not all version are covered. See: Mozilla ActiveX Project at http://www.iol.ie/~locka/mozilla/mozilla.htm
Kind regards,
Loïc

Re: gdViewer with Mozila Firefox
The problem which is asked in this post has been fixed since the latest version of firefox has been release. I have heard that FF4is now supporting the latest version of active x too where in is used in many PC units today. I guess now you can build and application through ASP.net using ghpic without having to worry if it will work or not.
