maintain dpi when converting pdf to tiff

Hi,

I am working on a scanner related project. I want to scan and add pages to pdf files. To do so, I first convert pdf to tiff and then append the pages to the tiff file. Then convert tiff file back to pdf. When converting pdfs to tiff I need to provide dpi to the following function-
Mimg = GdViewer1.PdfRenderPageToGdPictureImage(200, 1)
The pdf file contains only scanned image. Is there a way, that I could find the dpi of a page in pdf file while converting pdf to tiff? I need to maintain the resolution of each page while converting back and forth.
