Printer Management

Post by sarzan » Fri Sep 14, 2007 4:15 pm

When setting printer quality in the printer properties you (or the driver ?? ) display an enumerator (like Draft, Normal, ecc).

You know if there is some way to get the exact DPI corresponding to this enumerator (i mean... Draft quality how many DPI is ??).

I suppose that is depend on printer driver but i guess if there is a way to get it using gdPicture object ??

Hi Sarzan,

Like you said the DPI used from the quality modes are totaly depending of your printer device.

I don't know how to determine these values. Maybie with one windows api ??

I've added into my wish list a method wich returns the printer dpi.

Best regards,

Loïc
