64-Bit
Hi Guys,
Just curious if you have released a native 64-bit version of your component? I'm currently compiling my application using a platform target of "x86" which works fine. But, I'm interrested in offering a native 64-bit version of our app. Any news? (My appologies if I missed it elsewhere in the forum!)
Thank you, and keep up the great work!
Chris

Re: 64-Bit
Hi Chris,
No native 64 bit yet, only compatible 64 bit OS for our 32 bit release.
The native 64 bit edition is our priority and will be release at the beginning of 2010.
With best regards,
Loïc

Re: 64-Bit
Hi Loïc,
I noticed that version 6.6 has been released! Congratulations!
I've looked over the release notes but don't see any mention of native 64-bit support. Does the 6.6 release include native 64-bit support? We're eager to offer a 64-bit version of our product to take advantage of it's performance.
Thank you!
Chris

Re: 64-Bit
Hi Chris,
No native 64 release yet but work is in progress.
I think GdPicture.NET 64 bit will be release as separate edition of GdPicture.NET 7.0
Note:
To don't bring confusion to other customers: GdPicture.NET is 100% compatible with Windows 64 bit (just work in 32 bit mode).

Re: 64-Bit
Hi Loïc,
We develop an ASP.net application that uses GDPicture. We've been delaying offering a 64-bit version of our product until the GDPicture Native 64-bit version is available. (Installing 32-bit applications on IIS with 64-bit operating systems are challenging! Native 64-bit is much easier for our clients.)
Can you provide an estimate of your timeline for release of the 64-bit version? If the timeline is fairly long we'll try to devise another solution - no biggie!
Thank you,
Chris

Re: 64-Bit
Hi,
Our goal is to provide native 64 bit version in mid 2010. I think we will be able to keep this deadline.
With best regards,
Loïc

Re: 64-Bit
Hi, I'm loving your SDK, and trying hard to convince my boss that we should buy a full licence. I quickly ran into this little snag with 64 bit OS's however as we also try to provide our software as ANY CPU. Mid 2010 has come and gone. Do you have an updated timeframe for this feature?Loïc wrote:Hi,
