Imprinter-function

Post by obrainman » Tue Oct 30, 2007 3:59 pm

Hello,

our company would like to use GdTwain ocx control for scanning of incoming letters. We’ve tried a demo version and it’s working really fine, but we miss an important feature: how can we control the imprinter-function of scanner? We should be able to send a string to the scanner which should be printed on original paper during the scan process. Is it possible to do this with GdTwain or GdPicture?

---EDIT
I guess we need something like TwainCapSetCurrentString() for setting of CAP_PRINTERSTRING.
Is it possible to do this with gdPicturePro? It's very important for out software, if it doesn't work I think it'll be 'no go' for GdPicture

/*CAP_PRINTER = TWPR_IMPRINTERBOTTOMAFTER
CAP_PRINTERENABLED = true
CAP_PRINTERMODE = TWPM_COMPOUNDSTRING
CAP_PRINTERINDEX = 1
CAP_PRINTERSTRING = "testString " */
---END

Thank you for your answers
