TwainOpenDefaultSource timeout

We've experienced some problems with some customers trying to open the default source with GdPictureImaging.

It takes a very long time to call this method. This is probably because of some scanner that is not properly configured, but we would like to know if there is any way to put a timeout on the call to this method?

Hi Martin,

Good idea but unfortunately TWAIN references doesn't provide such feature.
A workaround consists to call the function in a separated thread but I can promise 100% expected behavior...
