Change Scan Settings for a Page

I am scanning a document with 10 pages.

I am scanning using ADF, and the Color Mode is Black & White.

Is it possible to change the ColorMode for page 4 alone.

I have tried a few things. So far the only way i have been able to change the settings is if i
1) CloseSource and then
2) Open Source
but then this take too long.

Is there any way to change the TwainSettings for a spcific page.

I also tried to Scan 1 page at a Time using the XFerCount to 1. But again after the 1st page is scanned i can change the settings but when i explicitly call AcuireImage it is not scanning the next page. I have to again CloseSource and OpenSource.

Please let me know how i can change the scannsettings for a page in a document.

Have you tried TwainSetAutoSourceClose(False) ?

unless i close the source i am not able to change the twain settings. Even if i set the properties for bitdepth and pixel type it, the value does not change. Only if i close am i able to change it. I dont want to close and open because that creates quiet a delay to scan each page.
Is there any other approach for meeting this requirement.

To be able to set scan settings for each page when scanning from the ADF.

I am scanning a document with 10 pages. All the pages should be scanned black and white. Only page 5 should be scanned in Color.

The scanning is done using ADF because large no of documents are scanned. So doing it manually takes time. I want to be able to programmatically change the setting when i scan page 5 to use gray scale.
