ConsoleApplicationBase - what is the reason?

Sample code for Twain contains many transTempXX variables (of type ConsoleApplicationBase). What is the reason? I did not find help on this and now comment

also, in sample project "Csharp-Twain Scanning.csproj" when I click on scan button i always get click event twice (and two scans of course). Why?

Hello,

This sample was written in vb.NET and converted to C# using Csharpener tool.
I rewrote it from scratch to avoid poorly converted code parts.
