Hello,

Actually we do not provide efficient way to detect the color scheme of a document. Such feature is usually called "color detection".
We are doing lot of research on this field and we plan to introduce color detection feature and PDF MRC support in our SDK in 2013.

We've already implemented color detection in one of our end user product, as explained in one of our ORPALIS's blog ticket:
Automatic color detection: how to dramatically reduce the size of your documents

Kind regards,

Loïc
