I put gdimgplug.dll in my bin folder, still throws exception

Post by rm2000 » Wed Oct 24, 2012 9:40 pm

Hi:

Evaluating the product.

I've added the gdpicture.net.9 and gdpicture.net.9.pdf references to my class library project referenced by my asp.net Web Forms project. I then wrote a simple method . The first line (below) fails

var imageId = imaging.CreateGdPictureImageFromFile("c:\\sample.pdf");

It states that gdimgplug.dll needs to go into assembly\gac_msil\gdpicture.net.0\9.20.0.4_3474f1a1ac699f44. I've copied the gdimgplug.dll to both the bin folder for the class library project AND the Web Forms project bin. I still get the error.

Thanks.

Do I need Web.config entries to make sure I'm getting the bin versions in my Web app versus the GAC versions? If so, what does the setup of these look like? Thanks.

By the way, I cannot GAC GdPicture.NET.9.image.gdimgplug.dll or its 64-bit equivalent. It states that it was expected to contain an assembly manifest.

Hello,

Here what you should try:

- Copy all required gdpicture.NET binaries into the Bin folder of your ASP.NET project.
- Add reference to the GdPciture.NET.DLL located into the BIN folder into your project.

Hope this fix the situation.

With best regards,

Loïc
