[C# 2010] - PDF add AnnotationEmbeddedImages as image.

Post by Dr3w » Wed Dec 19, 2012 6:11 pm

Hi at all,
I'm using AnnotationEmbeddedImage objects, and I need to insert them into a PDF...

With the AnnotationEmbeddedImage I can load and manipulate them as I want. At the end I must save them.
After saving my imgs in a temp file and retrieving their position and dimension, I've tried to use the GdPicturePDF.DrawImage methods... but once I save my file, nothing happened.

Thank you.
Andrea.

Hi at all,
I've made some mistakes.
I've had to include them into the pdf structure via AddImageFromGdPictureImage method. Now I can draw them.

But it happens something strange, with a particular pdf file, it seems that its PdfOrigin.PdfOriginTopLeft is not located at the top-left of my file... but in the middle! With many other files it works greatly.

If you want I'll send you the "incriminated" pdf.
Andrea.

[Edit:] I've made some test with pdf files printed by different pdf engine. This problem appears with pdf printed by MadCap Flare V7 and V > 7.

Hello,

Have you tried a call to ResetGraphicsState() method?

See: https://www.gdpicture.com/guides/gdpicture/v9/html/con ... State.html

With best regards,

Loïc
