Hi all,
My case:
- I have a big pdf (100,000 pages) from a HTTP server.
- This pdf file is generated by GdPicture library with method https://www.gdpicture.com/guides/gdpicture/v9/html/con ... olean.html with 2 last parameters are set to True
- When I view this file in Browser (with Acrobat plugin), I can find that the file is displayed the first pages immediately once they're loaded, and the rest pages are loaded asynchronously in the background
- But when I use GdViewer, the file is displayed until the entire file is downloaded.
Question:
- How can I achieve the same feature with browser when I use GdViewer? This is very urgent from my customer and I need you help soon.
Need help !!! Lazy loading on GdViewer from HTTP
Re: Need help !!! Lazy loading on GdViewer from HTTP
Hello,
The GdViewer control requires to have the full file content before starting the loading process. In other words the GdPicture.NET toolkit can create PDF with Fast Web View Mode (or linearized PDF) but to open such PDF it still need to have the whole file content loaded.
kind regards,
Loïc
