Signing a PDF File in memory

Post by EvilOrange » Wed Feb 13, 2013 9:23 am

Hello, i'm using VB.NET and I need to sign and encrypt a PDF File before saving it to the harddrive.

The DigiSign Method allows only a Output-File or a Stream as parameter.
How can i encrypt the stream before the file is saved ?

Is this possible ? and if, can someone help me with vb code ?

Thanks in advance.

Btw. i don't need a encryption algorithm... I have, i just need to pass the stream or a byte array to it.

Hello,

The digital signature provided on PDF files is only valid after the file (or stream) has been saved. There is no valid state of signed (encrypted) document after applying the signature and before saving the document. You can try our updated digital signature features here:
