Scanning Duplex

Post by rpicilli » Thu Aug 29, 2013 12:52 am

Hi there.

I'm facing the following problem.

Scanning double side pages, if I go one page by one, the oGdviewer never show the side 2 of the page. That is what is happening:

a) Scan one page
b) write the files locally
c) load the GdViewer with oGdPicture
d) only the first page is showed

e)scan a new page
f) write the files locally
g) load the GdViewer with oGdPicture
h) show the back page of the first page scanned and the front page of the second document

i) this behavior goes on until the last page. In the last page the image of the back page is never showed.

Please if this is not clear, let me know I'll try to explain in other words.

Regards

Rogerio

Hi,

I do not understand what you mean by:
" load the GdViewer with oGdPicture"

I think the problem is in that step. Could you explain further.

Best,
Sami

Sure SamiKharma.

In fact a load the file into the gdpicture with the command:

iImgId = oGdPictureImg.TiffCreateMultiPageFromFile(sPath)

After I show the image file with the command

oGdViewer.DisplayFromGdPictureImage(iImgId)

That is what I mean by "load the gdViewer with oGdPicture.

SumiKharma, looks like that the last image stay in some kind of "buffer" and is only showed when I do scan another page. In this case I always lose the last image.

Hi Sami, good day.

I've notice that this hapening only in Windows XP. In Windows 7/32 8/64 the problem do not exist. The problem is in Brasil there are a ton of Windows XP.

I check the Twain driver and looks like to the the last one.

If you have any comment please let me know.

Hi,

We cannot do anything with just this information. Basically we need to recreate the problem at our end. Please create a stand alone app that recreates the problem and the only that, and send it to us for further investigation. Also, please make sure that you do not include your license key information from the application.

Best,
Sami
