Line Annotation Starting and Ending Points

Post by VirDev » Fri Nov 15, 2013 12:41 am

Good evening...since AutoFit has been deployed (thank you!!) we have continued testing your product and have a new question.

A user draws a line using the AddLineAnnotInteractive method of the GdViewer class. We are trying to record the line starting and ending points in a database, but when we look at the Annotation object, we can see the bounding box properties (width and height), and we can see the center point of the bouding box (top, left)....but we don't see a way to determine which corners of the box are the end points....for example does the line run from the upper left to the lower right corner....or the lower left to the upper right corner?

Also, is it possible to get an offline version of the help file (version 10), similiar to the ones you have available for download for the prior versions.

Thanks for your help.

Hello

Indeed we currently do not provide any method to determine the arrow direction or its start/end points. If you wish to see this feature in a future release, please fill in a feature request in the corresponding forum so we can study and maybe plan the enhancement.
To request a reference guide offline copy, please open a technical support ticket.

Cheers
