Selecting Text from a PDF

I am currently using v9 of the GdPicture Suite. I have a client that would like to be able to select text from a PDF document and then perform some action based on that text. An example would be to select a name and then perform an external search from the application hosting the GdPicture components. This has been a part of the Adobe reader application for some time, is this possible in v9 or any version of the GdPicture software?

Unfortunately no text selection is not available in GdPicture as of yet.
