When I installed other trial twain scanner packages they put an icon in the VS.NET toolbox. In the same code I can see the scanner object in the middle of the form page, but I can't figure out where it was dragged and dropped from.
How do you get a scanner object onto your form using the VB.NET form designer?

You have to do like that:
For GdTwain Pro:
https://www.gdpicture.com/references/gdt ... index.htmlTo add a reference to the GdTwain Pro control in Visual Studio .NET:
• Right-click into the Toolbox Items and select "Add/Remove Items" for visual studio 2003 or "Choose Items" for visual studio 2005 and visual studio 2008.
• Choose the COM tab and check the classe(s) you want to use: (GdTwainPro.twain or GdTwainPro.GdViewer).
Note: If you can't see the desired box you can add it by clicking into the "Brows.." button.
For GdTwain STD:
