Setting paper size with Futjitsu Wia driver

I am trying to scan in din a4 via the wia driver of a Futjitsu scanner. Im using GDPictureImaging.WiaSetPaperSize(WiaPageSize.WiaPageSizeA4) to set the paper size but it won't work.
When im scanning via the setup dialog of the source i can change the paper size to din a4 and everything works fine.
Is there any work around or other way to set the correct paper size?

Hi,

Unfortunately the WIA protocol is not correctly implemented by many scanners. Meaning that we have no control over this because the driver is not acting properly.
