We've updated GdPicture to latest releases a few times in the last months but dating a few releases back, we've been experiencing unexpected behavior with the OCRTesseractGetOrientation(). Although we've been giving it extremely clean machine printed document, it will actually finds out an image needing rotation in a proportion of 1 out of 10. We've never had such bad results in the past and we're wondering if there were any changes made to this function in the last releases? We can unfortunately not share the documents as they contains sensitives information but if you could give us more detail or maybe specify a release that would give us the same results we had in the past it would be greatly appreciated.
FYI, this is our code:
Code: Select all
gdp.OCRTesseractClear();
int degree = gdp.OCRTesseractGetOrientation(id, "eng", @".\data", 10);
if (degree != 0) gdp.RotateAngle(id, 360f - (float)degree);
