Enter RegisterKey

Hi,
can I use the registerkey in this way:
bOk = licMgr.RegisterKEY("XXXXXXXXX72964975XXXXXXXX92224XXXXXXXX"); // V11
or do I have to protect this key in any way (which way?)
In C# it is quite easy to extract that value from the dll.
