Multi-page TIFF missing first or last page

Post by mgolland » Tue May 10, 2016 2:53 pm

Hi, I am using GDPicture 11 to view multipage TIFF files. I have a problem with certain files from specific scanners where the multipage file is being displayed in GDPicture but is always missing the first or last page, and the page count is one short. Windows Photo Viewer and Irfanview both display the correct number of pages. Interestingly, exporting the image back out from Irfanview results in a file that does display correctly in GDPicture.

To diagnose this further, here is the exif metadata of the files that do not display correctly (there are three lots of metadata in here, one for each page):

Code: Select all

Subfile Type : Full-resolution Image
Image Width : 2481
Image Height : 3508

Megapixels : 8.7
Obvious differences are that the 'broken' file has the Subfile Type value set to 'Full-resolution Image' and the Page Number is not.
