Hello,
Is there a way to set/extend the timeout of the annotation objects that can be applied to a document?
What we are experiencing is that when an annotation is applied to a document without being saved within 20 minutes of its creation the annotations are lost when we try to capture the annotation to save it (we save our annotations and documents separately).
Thanks
(Please note, we are using the most recent version of the software - v3.1.0.33)
DocuVieware Annotation Timeout
Re: DocuVieware Annotation Timeout
Hi,
You just have to set a Timeout value different than 20 in the generated DocuVieware object (server side). See the Timeout property if you are using the DocuVieware control.
Please let me know if you need further information.
With best regards,
Loïc

Re: DocuVieware Annotation Timeout
Hello,
We tried that. We tried setting the timeout in the code behind and in the web form control's code. Nothing seemed to work, until we changed the DocuViewareSessionStateMode to "File". Now the assigned timeout appears to be working properly. Is it possible that the server's/application's session timeout was overriding the value set for the DocuVieware object?
