In the old gdviewer forum, topic 342, there was a suggestion on how to get the scrollbar to quit blinking. I'm unable to get this to work. I've been playing around with a VB6 program.
Here's what I found - if load the image and do SetZoomFit, then use my scroll to zoom, no blinking. But I added a button to just call SetZoomWidth, when I select that SetZoomWidth button (after the image is loaded), it sets the image the way I want but as soon asI place my cursor on the image in the viewer the scrollbars blink.
Maybe I'm not understanding what I need to do? Suggestions?

You can download the 3.7.10 release which release some blink problem.
Into this release the blink problem appears only where the viewer get only one scrollbar.
You can bypass this behavior using this tip:
Set the focus to another control into your form.
Ex:
