Re: MSG file support
Hi Again,
It's been a while since I followed up on this. According to your web page,
https://www.gdpicture.com/formats-sdk/email/
we should be able to "Process and archive emails and their attachments with full EML and MSG support."
I have two issues, 1. I can't find how to see if the MSG or EML file has Attachments, and 2. The loading of MSG and EML formats is still very slow.
Can you please help me with these issues? They are both extremely critical for a project I am working on.
Best regards,
Jacob

Re: MSG file support
Hi Jacob,
Thanks for your question.
1. To see if an EML or MSG has attachments, it must first be converted to PDF. Once in PDF format, you can use our GdPicturePDF methods to check for embedded files:
https://www.gdpicture.com/guides/gdpict ... Count.html
2. Regarding speed, I am not sure which processing speeds you are getting on your end. This could be specific document related or could be the expected speed on our end. I would need to know more to be able to troubleshoot this with you.
You can create a ticket here: https://orpalis.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/requests/new
We can look at this together there but please provide both input file and code project you are using to get this "slow speed". (I would appreciate if you could also add your "expectations" on the processing speed, an approximation will do fine).

Re: MSG file support
Hi Hugo,
Thank you for getting back so quickly. I had mentioned this in a previous post on this thread,
https://www.gdpicture.com/forum/search. ... 6&sr=posts
You can see this slowness in opening MSG files with your GdPicture C# WinForm "Document Viewer" sample application. I attached a few samples of outlook MSG files in a Zip, that take 30 seconds or more to open with the Document Viewer... but open in 3 seconds with Outlook.
Maybe it has something to do with them being in HTML format?
Thanks,
Jacob
